Roles and Responsiblities

• Participates in implementation and monitoring of Adaptation Projects;
• Coordinates and reports on National Implementing Entities for the Adaptation Fund and the Green Climate Fund;
• Participates in Vulnerability and Adaptation (V&A) assessments;
• Responsible for Technology Needs Assessment for climate change adaptation;
• Coordinates project proposals writing and resources mobilisation;
• Implements the National Climate Change Response Strategy (NCCRS) action plans;
• Participates and contributes to policy development processes;
• Focal point for Water Resources, Environment, Agriculture;
• Organises workshops/meetings of the office (technical, NSC,);
• Liaison with NGOs/Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) on adaptation.
